Let there be Light 2017: No 3

Updated: Apr 9, 2018

Oscar Wilde wrote “Always forgive your enemies - nothing annoys them so much.”

Forgiving yourself is even more liberating and uplifting. It means recognising and loving your own fragility with humility. It means realising that sometimes circumstances are simply out of your control and need to be accepted. It means that you are capable of mistakes. Who knew?!

Forgiving yourself makes possible the hope and belief that every minute can be lived in a better possibility than the last.

When something bad happens, we have three choices. We can let it define us, destroy us, or strengthen us. Forgiveness is a prerequisite for that added strength.

Which silly mistake are you still blaming yourself for? Who are you making wrong in your life because they have hurt you? Is it time now to forgive, get complete and move on stronger.
