Happiness

In a note given to a courier in a hotel room in Tokyo in place of a cash tip, Nobel Prize winner Albert Einstein shared his personal secret to a happy life: ‘A quiet and modest life brings more joy than a pursuit of success bound with constant unrest


I’m grateful to one of you for sharing the attached video produced to celebrate World Happiness Day last month which tells this story.


Happiness is perhaps best attained by letting go of what you and others think your life is supposed to look like and instead celebrating it for all that it already is. Comparison with what has passed, what might come, what could have been and with others is a road generally bereft of the joy we seek in life.


Comparison is the mother of unhappiness. Einstein also said some other cool stuff.
